Three Injured After Teen Girl Crashes Car

(Lingerwood, ND) — Three teens were injured when a 13-year-old girl crashed a car in Lidgerwood Sunday. Authorities say the girl was driving down Richland County Road 17 in the early morning hours of Sunday when the vehicle left the roadway. The car struck an embankment and vaulted before coming to rest in a field near 94th Street Southeast. The driver suffered non-life-threatening injuries in the crash, along with two other 13-year-old passengers. All three were taken to a hospital in Fargo to be treated for their injuries. It’s not clear how the girl ended up behind the wheel of the car.
