(Bismarck, ND) — Three defendants who pleaded guilty in connection with an overdose death will each spend the next ten years behind bars. A judge on Monday handed down the sentences to Joshua Crowley, Dustin Sapot and Harlan Kastrow. Prosecutors had been seeking five years for each defendant. The three defendants reportedly provided fentanyl to 30-year-old Brody Seitz of Bismarck, who died of an overdose on November 30th, 2023. Brody’s father and twin sister were in court to provide victim impact statements. The defendants were also ordered to pay restitution to the family.
