Trans-Related Books Remain On Minot Library Shelves

(Minot, ND) — The Minot Public Library is keeping two books on its shelves after a recent challenge. The books “Two Boys Kissing” and “Calvin” were the center of a heated debate over the past couple of weeks. The first book drew criticism after it was placed among the young adult reading selections while the second is a children’s book. The main reason the library is keeping the books is that they’ve been deemed “age-appropriate” materials explaining trans folks to kids.
