(Bismarck, ND) — The trial of a Mandan man accused of murdering another man in Bismarck in 2022 got underway Monday. On Monday, prosecutors told the jury a combination of surveillance video, cellphone data, and DNA testing will help prove that Benjamin Williams fatally shot Christopher Sebastian inside a vehicle at an apartment complex parking lot. If convicted, Williams faces a potential sentence of life in prison without the possibility of parole. The trial is expected to last nearly two weeks.
