Trio Announces Run For Minot City Council

(Minot, ND) — A trio of businessmen have announced their plans to run for Minot City Council on a shared platform of “We Can Do Better.” Mike Blessum, Rob Fuller, and Scott Samuelson are campaigning on a unified message that centers on fiscal responsibility and addressing what they call “exorbitant property taxes that are 75-percent higher than the North Dakota average.” Blessum and his wife Cherie own several small businesses in Minot, Fuller and his wife Katie own and operate Spartan Firearms, and Samuelson is a former business owner and a licensed master plumber. The three seats on the council up for election this year are held by Stephan Podrygula, Carrie Evans, and Scott Burlingame.
