(Minot, ND) — Highway 2 under the 16th Street Southwest overpass is open again following a bizarre accident involving a truck and a metal tank. It happened Saturday morning, when a semi-truck hauling a large industrial storage tank became wedged under the bridge. Traffic was reduced to one southbound lane as crews arrived and began dislodging the tank and truck from under the bridge, eventually getting the scene cleaned up by early evening. Officials say the oversized tank was not permitted correctly with the height of the bridge.
