(Palm Beach, FL) — President-elect Trump says he’ll pick Governor Doug Burgum to be Secretary of the Interior. Trump made the announcement Thursday while speaking at Mar-a-Lago for an America First Policy Institute event. In a statement provided by a spokesperson for the governor, Burgum said he’s “honored and excited to serve” and he’ll have more to say after the official announcement. Trump said he’ll officially nominate Burgum for the position today.
