(Williston, ND) — Two people have died in a collision involving a semi-truck near Williston. Reports indicate that early on Tuesday evening, an SUV was traveling on Highway 85, which was slick from rain following a heavy downpour. The SUV hydroplaned and crossed the center line, colliding with a semi-truck that was traveling in the opposite direction. Both occupants of the SUV were pronounced dead at the scene, while the semi-truck driver sustained minor injuries. The crash is being investigated by the North Dakota State Highway Patrol.
