(Ward County, ND) — North Dakota Highway Patrol says a 74-year-old woman and a 17-year-old girl suffered serious injuries following a crash near Minot Friday morning. The crash between an SUV and a passenger vehicle happened shortly after 8:30 a.m. in Ward County at the intersection Highway 83 and 54th Avenue Southwest. According to Highway Patrol, the car driven by the teen failed to yield and the SUV crashed into the passenger side. The woman who was injured was a passenger in the SUV. Highway Patrol says the 77-year-old SUV driver was uninjured. The woman and the teen were taken to an area hospital.
