UND Sexual Harassment Suit Partially Dismissed

(Fargo, ND) — A sexual harassment suit against the University of North Dakota has been partially dismissed. Dr. Fiona Axelsson claimed that family medicine program director Dr. Jason Myrmoe sexually harassed her while she was enrolled in the program. Records indicate several other women in the program received similar harassment, and that Dr. Myrmoe was eventually removed as program director as a result. A portion lawsuit, which alleges that Axelsson suffered major mental health problems from the ordeal was dismissed, but under the condition that this decision will not affect the plaintiff’s claims against other defendants. The case is to go to trial on October 6th.
