Washington State Murder Suspect Arrested In North Dakota

(Mapleton, ND) — A man wanted for murder in Washington state has been arrested in North Dakota. Twenty-year-old Joseph Morrison of Auburn, Washington was wanted on an active first-degree murder warrant, and he was pulled over on I-94 near Mapleton earlier this week. While the traffic stop was for an equipment violation, a highway patrol trooper found a handgun in the car that had been modified to fire automatically. Morrison was arrested for possession of a machine gun and on the active murder warrant. He’s being held at the Cass County Jail.
