(Watford City, ND) — Twelve tenants are displaced following a major fire at a duplex in Watford City. Fire crews were called to the building along 11th Avenue Northeast early Tuesday afternoon and entered the burning duplex, rescuing five people. Firefighters battled the flames and finally got the blaze under control three hours later. None of the tenants were injured, and are receiving help from Bakken Oil Rush Ministries and the North Dakota Red Cross. Fire officials are working to determine how the fire started.
