Weather Model Predicts 4-to-6 Major Winter Storms

(Grand Forks, ND) — The Red River Valley could be hit with four to six winter storms. That’s according to an experimental forecasting model developed by the National Weather Service. According to forecasters, an average season brings two to three major winter weather events between November and March. The model, which uses machine learning, predicts a minimum of two storms and ten at the most.
