(Dickinson, ND) — The city of Dickinson is preparing for a surge of visitors and traffic from today through Saturday. That’s mainly because the city is hosting the North Dakota High School Activities Association state baseball and softball tournaments. A total of 15-hundred people are expected to be in town for the tournaments alone. Dickinson will also host state boxing legend Virgil Hill the Final Bell Boxing Event on Saturday, which will bring in even more visitors. Local leaders say the events will be good for Dickinson’s economy.
