West Nile Virus Found In Grand Forks Mosquitos

(Grand Forks, ND) — Heath officials say the West Nile Virus has been detected in mosquitos in Grand Forks. While only a few mosquitos have tested positive for the virus, locals are being asked to take precautions. Experts say wearing bug spray and long clothes, and staying indoors at dusk and dawn reduces the risk of mosquito bites. The West Nile Virus causes fever, headache, body aches, a rash, and in rare cases can be fatal.
