Wild Turkey Population Up This Season

(Bismarck, ND) — Game and Wildlife officials say wild turkey populations are looking healthy this year in North Dakota, and they’re issuing just over 700 tags. They say the increased turkey population has proven to be a nuisance for some landowners, and are encouraging hunters to get out there. The deadline to apply for spring season turkey hunting licenses is February 14th. The season opens on April 13th and runs through May 19th.
