(Williston, ND) — A Williston man will serve 50 years in federal prison for sexually exploiting children in multiple states. The investigation into 29-year-old Nicholas Nesdahl revealed that he used social media to groom children into sending him sexually explicit images and videos of themselves. Investigators located victims in North Dakota, Minnesota, Maryland, Texas, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey, and Nesdahl pleaded guilty to child exploitation and abuse material-related charges. He will be on a lifetime of supervised release after he finishes his prison sentence.
