Williston Man, Teenager Accused Of Breaking Into Police Car

(Williston, ND) — A man and a 17-year-old boy are in custody after police say they broke into a squad car in Williston Tuesday afternoon. An officer spotted the two suspects and they ran down an alley, where a bystander grabbed and restrained one of them until police could arrest him. The older suspect, identified as David Daniel Mendoza Gonzales reportedly threw a gun into a nearby park as he ran, and officers discovered it was stolen after they recovered it. Both suspects face multiple charges.
