(Williston, ND) — An unattended death in Williston is believed to be an accidental fall. The Williston Police Department says officers were dispatched Sunday to the 300 Block of University Avenue after receiving reports of an unresponsive individual. Arriving on scene, they discovered a woman lying next to a running vehicle. Life-saving measures were performed at both the scene and an area hospital, but the woman was eventually pronounced dead. WPD says an accidental fall may have caused the death, although the investigation remains under investigation.
