Winter Weather Causing Power Outages In North Dakota

(Dickinson, ND) — North Dakota’s recent warm stretch is over, as a winter storm system moves through the state. Accumulating snow and ice is causing power outages, especially in the western part of the state, though power issues have also been reported farther east in Towner and Cavalier counties. Officials say more than 10-thousand people lost power due to the storm, and utility crews are currently working to restore electricity to customers. There’s no word on when the repairs will be completed.
