(Bismarck, ND) — A Minnesota woman with alleged ties to Mexican drug cartels has pleaded guilty to a federal drug trafficking charge in North Dakota. Investigators say Deanna Gerads was involved in the international trafficking of meth, cocaine, and fentanyl in several states, including North Dakota. She faces a charge of conspiracy to distribute and possess controlled substances, and her sentencing is set for July 2nd.
