Woman Dies After Golf Cart Accident

(Mapleton, ND) — A woman has died following a golf cart crash that happened earlier this month. Ashley Tangedal was riding as a passenger in a golf cart driven by Erin Brousseau, when she was ejected from the cart as they made a sharp turn. Tangedal was airlifted to a hospital in serious condition, and she succumbed to her injuries last Wednesday. Brousseau has been arrested on a charge of criminal vehicular injury, and the North Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
