Woman, Dog Die In Gwinner House Fire.

(Gwinner, ND) — A woman and a dog are dead following a house fire in Gwinner. Firefighters were called to the home Sunday morning and found the woman in an upstairs room. She was taken to a hospital where she was later pronounced dead. Authorities say a man and several dogs were able to escape the fire, and a firefighter was treated for smoke inhalation at the scene. Investigators say the fire may have started in the basement of the home.
