Woman Who Tried To Kick Bismarck Police Officer Gets Deferred Sentence

(Bismarck, ND) — A woman who tried to kick a Bismarck police officer last year has been given a deferred sentence. It happened after officers were called to Everspring Inn and Suites to remove Erin Tveito from the property. She was reportedly intoxicated and uncooperative during the encounter. A deferred sentence means a case will be dismissed as long as other conditions are met. In this case, Tveito is required to pay 560-dollars in court fees and complete a chemical dependency evaluation.
