Work To Display Ancient Dinosaur Fossil Continues

(Bismarck, ND) — The North Dakota Geological Survey is preparing an ancient dinosaur fossil for display at the North Dakota Heritage Center. The duck-billed dinosaur fossil was first uncovered in 1999 on a hillside near Marmarth. In 2008, the NDGS acquired the fossil. Since then, about 20-thousand hours has gone into cleaning it and preparing it for display.
