(Roseland, NJ) — Iowa’s pay growth rate is getting slower. The ADP National Employment Report’s Pay Insights for May 2023 shows Iowans who stay in their jobs are seeing a five-point-eight percent growth in annual pay. Nationally, pay growth comes in at six-point-five percent. The report finds the national rate declined for the second month in a row. The median annual pay for Iowa workers who stayed in their role is nearly fifty-five thousand dollars, about two thousand less than the national figure.
