Airplane Makes Emergency Landing At Rochester International Airport

(Rochester, MN) — A private plane made an emergency landing at Rochester International Airport. Late last week, the plane was flying to Oshkosh, Wisconsin for an airshow when its engine exploded. The pilot and passengers reported hearing a loud explosion, followed by smoke filling the cabin. Despite poor visibility, the pilot was able to maneuver the plane and safely land on one of the airport’s runways. The pilot and passengers were not injured.
