Anoka County Man Pleads Guilty To Murder

(Minneapolis, MN) — A St. Francis man who confessed to shooting a man and then firing at him again after he collapsed to the ground is pleading guilty to murder. Jacob Lewis has been charged with second-degree murder in the death of Heywood Jones last fall in North Minneapolis. The plea deal calls for the defendant to receive a prison sentence of a little more than 24 years. Lewis is scheduled to be sentenced on June 8th.
