(Rhinehart Township, MN) — The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension is investigating after a deadly officer-involved shooting in Polk County. The Polk County Sheriff’s Office says the shooting happened while officers were trying to arrest a man in Rhinehart Township yesterday. Multiple agencies were involved in executing a warrant for the man’s arrest, including the sheriff’s office, the East Grand Forks Police Department and the Pine to Prairie Drug Task Force. The BCA plans to release more information once their investigation is complete.
