Car Theft Suspect Identified

(Moorhead, MN) — Police have identified a man suspected of an armed car theft in Moorhead. A warrant for the arrest of 32-year-old Nikolas Pigozzo has been issued, and the suspect was reportedly identified using video taken by a witness. Pigozzo is accused of pulling a knife on a driver as they were walking to their car, and then driving away with the vehicle. The car has since been recovered. Authorities say assault and robbery charges are pending, and are asking anyone with information on Pigozzo’s whereabouts to contact law enforcement.
