(Duluth, MN) — A Duluth man is admitting to killing his girlfriend earlier this year. Twenty-five-year-old Dale Howard pleaded guilty to second-degree murder charges in Saint Louis County Court yesterday. Authorities say Allisa Vollan had a Domestic Abuse No Contact Order issued against Howard at the time that he strangled her to death back in March. Howard faces up to 20 years in prison. He is scheduled to appear for sentencing on October 14th.
