(Mankato, MN) — Representatives of the Federal Emergency Management Agency are visiting areas of Minnesota damaged by recent flooding. Those representatives were in Blue Earth County yesterday, going door to door to ask about damage to homes and other property. FEMA says there is no timeline for completing the assessments, though the information they collect will go to state and federal officials to determine how much aid will be offered. Twenty-two Minnesota counties are part of a federal disaster declaration issued last month due to the flooding.
