(Missoula, MT) — Governor Greg Gianforte is highlighting record funding for public schools in Montana. Gianforte made a trip to DeSmet School in Missoula yesterday where he spoke about the goal of helping every child reach their full potential. That includes a bill this past session that adds more than 85-million dollars to Montana’s K-through-12 BASE aid funding for the next fiscal year. The governor also touted the work being done at the Missoula middle school, praising the workforce for getting the next generation of “entrepreneurs, teachers, nurses” and more ready for the next step of their education journey.
