Highway 93 To Be Closed Near Henderson For Road Work

(Henderson, MN) — The Minnesota Department of Transportation will close part of Highway 93 near Henderson later this month for a multi-year road project. The section of the highway between Henderson and Highway 169 will close on April 15th. The agency will reconstruct nearly four miles of Highway 93 to make it eight feet higher, hoping to keep it from flooding when the Rush River overflows. The project will also replace a bridge over the river and construct an additional overflow bridge for flood relief. The project is expected to last two years.
