(Washington County, MN) — A hunter is recovering after being shot in Washington County when he was reportedly mistaken for a turkey. This happened yesterday afternoon just off of Northbrook Boulevard North, near the Bayport Wildlife Management Area in Baytown Township. Police say the 54-year-old hunter was shot by a member of his hunting party. The victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries. Police say the 48-year-old hunter who shot him is cooperating with the investigation.
