Iowa Is No Longer In A Drought For The First Time Since 2020

(Davenport, IA) – For the first time in four years, there is no drought anywhere in Iowa or Illinois according to the new US Drought Monitor. All of the Quad Cities area, including Clinton and counties on the Iowa side and Mercer and Rock Island Counties in Illinois are drought free. The Cedar Rapids area, including several surrounding counties and parts of Johnson and Black Hawk Counties are still listed as abnormally dry.
