(Camp Dodge, IA) — One hundred Iowa National Guard soldiers are getting ready to head to the U-S southern border this month. Governor Kim Reynolds authorized the deployment this past spring. The soldiers, along with 30-Iowa Department of Public Safety employees will be in Texas for 30-days to help with border security.
