Iowans Can Apply For ESAs This Week

(Des Moines, IA) — Iowans can apply for education savings accounts to pay for private school starting tomorrow. The company running the program — Odyssey — has information on their website on how to apply. The new state law lets Iowa families get nearly 76-hundred dollars per student to help pay for private education. Odyssey says families should receive a confirmation email within 30 minutes of applying. Iowans have until June 30th to apply. The next step will be selecting the school their children will attend for the upcoming school year — that step opens July 15th.
