Iowans Warned Of Counterfeit Child Car Seats

(Iowa City, IA) — Counterfeit child car seats are becoming more popular online. The University of Iowa Stead Family Children’s Hospital says the counterfeit car seats might be missing instructions or the instructions are full of errors. They’re made cheaply and have not been properly tested. A car seat-stroller combo made by Doona sells for 600 dollars, but a faulty knock-off is sold online for half that cost.
