Judge Says St. Paul Failed To Comply With State Records Law

(Ramsey County, MN) — A Ramsey County Court Judge says the city of St. Paul isn’t complying with state records laws in connection with its Summit Avenue Regional Trail Plan. The judge says the city hasn’t been transparent about the project and may have violated state law because it has failed to respond to citizens’ requests for information related to the plan. The grassroots group Save Our Street says the planned raised bike trail would mean the loss of mature trees and parking. The city risks losing its funding for the project if it is found to have violated state records laws.
