(Helena, MT) — The race for Montana attorney general is officially set. Incumbent Austin Knudsen is the projected winner of the Republican primary following controversy involving him and his opponent. A recording published by the Daily Montanan last month appeared to have Knudsen saying he asked somebody to run against him because the state’s campaign laws are “ridiculous.” Both he and Logan Olson face a complaint regarding the manner. Knudsen will be taking on Bozeman attorney Ben Alke after he ran opposed for the Democratic nomination.
