Labor & Industry Commissioner Resigns Following DUI

(Missoula, MT) — A Montana state official is leaving her post following an arrest for alleged DUI. Department of Labor and Industry Commissioner Laurie Lynn Esau resigned yesterday after she was arrested Sunday afternoon in Missoula. She posted bond that night and was released from the Missoula County jail. Governor Greg Gianforte accepted her resignation, who appointed her to the position at the beginning of 2021.
