(St. Paul, MN) — Minnesota’s legislative auditor has ended her probe into the process that led to the hire and quick resignation of the state’s first director of cannabis management. Erin DuPree was appointed to the position in September, but left the post after reports that she sold products that exceeded state THC limits at a store in Apple Valley. Auditor Judy Randall announced yesterday that there were some missteps in the process, including some problems with background checks and record searches. But, Randall doesn’t feel the problems are extensive enough to warrant a deeper probe.
