(Billings, MT) — A Billings man is admitting to threatening Montana Senator Jon Tester’s life. Anthony Cross pleaded guilty Friday to threatening to kill a U.S. Senator as part of an agreement that sees a different charge for threatening President Biden dropped. A grand jury indicted the 30-year-old last year after leaving threatening voicemails for Tester at his offices in Billings and Washington, D.C. Cross’s voicemails also threatened the Democrat’s family. The man faces up to ten years in a prison and a hefty fine when he’s sentenced later this year.
