(Hopkins, MN) — A man has been sentenced for a fatal shooting in Hopkins. In late 2021, police found Sean Johnson shot to death inside an apartment along Blake Road North. An investigation determined that Johnson was planning on selling a gun that day, and discovered that cell phone data placed Malik Williams near the apartment at the time of the shooting. Williams was also allegedly the last person Johnson spoke to before his murder. At a recent hearing, Malik Williams was sentenced to thirty-and-a-half years in prison.
