(Bloomington, MN) — A man who pleaded guilty to a deadly shooting at Mall of America over a year ago is going to prison. TaeShawn Adams-Wright was sentenced today to more than 30 years behind bars. Prosecutors say the defendant had a role in the death of Johntae Hudson in December 2022. It all started as a fight at Nordstrom before it escalated to gunshots. A woman at the store was also grazed by a bullet and survived. A co-defendant of Adams-Wright, who was 17 at the time of the crime, is expected go to trial in adult court next week.
