MHP Warns About ‘100 Deadliest Days Of Summer’

(Boulder, MT) — Montana Highway Patrol is beginning to increase patrols as the mercury rises. The department says it has started its extra enforcement during what’s described as the “100 Deadliest Days of Summer.” The state Attorney General’s Office explained more deadly crashes occur during the time between Memorial Day weekend and Labor Day weekend than any other time during the year. There have already been more than 50 traffic-related deaths in the Treasure State so far this year. Attorney General Austin Knudsen reminded Montanans to have fun with friends and family, but to do so responsibly.
