Minnesota Fourth In Healthiest States Ranking

(Undated) — Minnesota is among the healthiest states in the U.S. according to a new ranking by Forbes Advisor. The ranking published this week was based on data about disease risk factors in each state and how often they occur. Substance abuse, lifestyle habits and health outlook were also among the categories used for the ranking. Minnesota ranked fourth overall among the most healthy states behind Hawaii, Utah and Connecticut. Minnesota had the lowest heart disease mortality rate in the U.S., as well as the second-lowest percentage of adults with high cholesterol.
