Minnesota Man Charged In Murder Of Toddler

(Albert Lea, MN) — An Albert Lea man is facing felony charges in connection to the death of a two-year-old boy. According to authorities, the child died while under the care of his mother’s boyfriend, Austin Navarro. The mother reportedly found the child unresponsive on a bed, and a detective allegedly noted bruising on his body. The two-year-old was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead, and Navarro was taken into custody on charges of child endangerment and murder. A medical examiner ruled blunt force trauma to be the cause of the child’s death.
