Minnesota Man Killed In Montana Plane Crash

(Bloomington, MN) — A man from Bloomington has died in a plane crash in Montana. Precision Lens founder Paul Ehlen was flying a World War II P-40 Warhawk airplane in western Montana when the aircraft crashed, killing Ehlen. The plane reportedly had suffered a mechanical failure shortly after it took off from Ravalli County Airport. Ehlen was flying back to Minnesota when the crash occurred, and the crash is being investigated by the Federal Aviation Administration.
